Reconstruction of FISCHER ski shop in Mukachevo. DELTA Ukraine continues work at the facility

Fischer Sports GmbH is an Austrian company, a world leader in the production of equipment for winter sports, one of the leading manufacturers of world brands of mountain and cross-country skis, hockey sticks, known for innovation and advanced technologies.
The production facilities of the group of companies are located in Ried im Innkrais (Austria) and Mukachevo (Ukraine). The Ukrainian-Austrian enterprise with foreign investments in the form of a limited liability company “Fischer-Mukachevo” is a subsidiary of Fischer Sports GmbH in Ukraine, where one of the largest industrial facilities for the production of sports equipment for winter sports is located in Europe.
Most of the mountain and cross-country skis represented on the market by the Fischer brand are manufactured in Transcarpathia.
In October 2020, a fire broke out in the ski shop of UAP “Fisher-Mukachevo” LLC, during which the production equipment and the building of the shop were significantly damaged.
The Fischer company decided not only to rebuild the one-story building of the ski shop, but also to completely modernize the production technology.
For the implementation of the project in Ukraine, companies with which Fischer has many years of cooperation experience in Austria and Europe were invited.
The general designer is DELTA Group, represented by branches in Wales (Austria) and Kyiv (Ukraine).
Construction and installation works are performed by more than 10 Austrian and Ukrainian companies under the general management of the general contractor Alpha Construction Ukraine.
Short deadlines for the execution of works without loss of quality are one of the features of the work on the project for DELTA Ukraine, since exactly such tasks were set by the customer.
Currently, the works are in the final stage — the destroyed premises have been rebuilt, the structural elements of the building have been strengthened, a new roof has been built, engineering networks are in the process of being installed.
During the reconstruction, fire safety measures were strengthened in the workshop, and the requirements of both Ukrainian and European norms and rules were taken into account in the process of its design. The supply of technological equipment of the new generation has already begun, some of which will be used for the first time at the factory in Mukachevo.
The works are planned to be completed at the end of this year. The total area of the reconstruction is 21,839 m2.
Austrian company Fischer focuses on social, environmental and economic sustainability. When choosing materials of domestic and foreign production, the ratio of quality and environmental friendliness was taken into account.
