Features of the project:
- Refrigeration rooms were purchased and handed over to the health authorities of the following Ukrainian cities: Ivano-Frankivsk, Chernivtsi, Lysychansk, Lviv and Ukrainian.
- DELTA Ukraine carried out a general assessment of the situation and identified specific types of work performed to install cold rooms (chambers) in certain medical institutions.
- A technical assessment was carried out at the facilities, all necessary construction documents were prepared for the preparation of premises and installation of cold rooms taking into account the conditions and characteristics of each medical institution, recommendations were made regarding permits and declarations required for construction work, assistance was provided to the Supply and Procurement Department of the UNICEF Representative Office in Ukraine in matters of tender documentation preparation, supervision and quality assurance was carried out by a qualified civil engineer.
