Awards and certifications
DELTA is a family-friendly employer ‘berufundfamilie’ 2023/24 and was also recertified as a leading company in Austria in 2024.
The ‘Elisabethinen Wien-Mitte’ project was awarded the Republic of Austria’s Medal for the Preservation of Historical Monuments at the end of 2023. In keeping with the diversity and variety of listed buildings, the Monument Protection Medal was also awarded to projects that are particularly sustainable, innovative or exemplary in terms of climate protection and contribute to preserving buildings in line with their listed status and making them climate-ready. Over a construction period of eight years, the old Elisabethinen building in Vienna was carefully renovated with the support of the Federal Monuments Office and modern extensions were built. Old and new are now harmoniously combined architecturally. The project was also awarded the ‘gebaut2023’ architecture prize by the City of Vienna and two international architecture awards – AMP (Architecture MasterPrize) in “Heritage” and BLT Built Design Award in “Urban planning: large integrated projects”.
The Takeda Innovation Capability Centre (ICC) in Bratislava, for which DELTA Slovakia was commissioned with the interior design, BIM and architecture from the perspective of a local architect in collaboration with JACOBS Architekten, was officially honoured with the ‘Innovative Office of the Year’ award in 2023. This unique design is based on the idea of a mini-city orientated towards future forms of work, taking a hybrid approach that combines historical spaces, innovative technologies, Japanese culture and biophilic design in a healthy, collaborative and highly human-centric office space.
In 2018, DELTA won the Lower Austrian Timber Construction Award for the IFA Tulln laboratory and office building and the KOOP Award as a particularly cooperative project manager in the ‘Smart Campus’ project. The planning of the projects ‘BOKU Neubau an der Türkenschanze’ and the ‘Schichtgründe’ residential complex in Vienna were awarded klimaaktiv certificates in February 2019.
DELTA is the initiator of IG Lebenszyklus Bau, which provides a platform for large and small companies and experts to network and work together on promising topics relating to the life cycle of properties. As a klima:aktiv partner and member of ÖGNI, DHK and many more, DELTA is committed to greater sustainability, digitalisation and partnership in the construction industry.
