NGO “UNBROKEN”

Special Features:

• UNBROKEN  Prosthetic and Orthotic Center — one of the key locations of the UNBROKEN ecosystem in Lviv,  provides comprehensive prosthetic services for civilians and military who have experienced limb losses as a result of the war.
• The project was established on the basis of the First Medical Association of Lviv, in cooperation with international partners and with the support of the German organization DAHW and the city of Würzburg.
• The center is equipped with modern manufacturing technologies, including 3D scanning systems, CAD modeling, and advanced materials for the production of custom prosthetics.
• All stages of prosthetic production — from the initial assessment to the final fitting — take place within a single facility, minimizing waiting times and ensuring a highly personalized approach for each patient.
• Ukrainian and international specialists in prosthetics, orthopedics, and rehabilitation, who have undergone specialized training according to international standards, have been engaged in the implementation of the project.
• The center operates under an integrated rehabilitation model that provides medical, physical, and psychological support to patients throughout the prosthetic process and their adaptation to a new way of life.
• Special attention was given to accessibility, workplace ergonomics, and compliance with European safety standards in the design of the space.
• UNBROKEN actively develops partnerships with international foundations and prosthetics manufacturers to continuously upgrade technologies and expand the capabilities of the center.
