Horácká Multifunctional Arena enters the Stavba roku 2026 competition. DELTA was part of the project.

The Horácká Multifunctional Arena in Jihlava, this year’s winner of the Stavba Vysočiny competition, is continuing its success at national level in the Stavba roku 2026 competition. On Tuesday, 21 July, the project was visited by an expert jury. The DELTA Group CZ team also contributed to the delivery of the project, providing construction management and coordination services throughout the construction phase. The jury visit formed part of the evaluation of projects submitted from across the Czech Republic and represents another important milestone for the arena.
The Horácká Multifunctional Arena impressed the regional jury with its multifunctional concept, architectural and technical quality, as well as its contribution to the development of the city of Jihlava. In addition to the main award, the project also received the Award of the Czech Chamber of Chartered Engineers and Technicians Engaged in Construction.
DELTA Group CZ participated in the delivery of one of the most significant public projects of recent years in a consortium with FETTERS management. Through Josef Prokeš, DELTA provided construction management and coordination together with project management services for almost two years, playing an important role in the successful delivery of the entire project.
During Tuesday’s visit, the expert jury led by Prof. Ing. Arch. Zdeněk Jiran had the opportunity to assess the architectural, technical and operational qualities of the arena directly on site. The programme also included filming footage for the presentation of projects entered in the Stavba roku 2026 competition.
The progression of the Horácká Multifunctional Arena from a regional award to the national competition reflects both the quality of the project and the work of all partners involved in its delivery. For DELTA Group CZ, participation in a project that ranks among the most significant contemporary buildings in the Czech Republic is another demonstration of its extensive expertise in Project control & project management.
The success of the Horácká Multifunctional Arena does not end there. In addition to winning Stavba Vysočiny 2025, the project was also selected as one of 25 nominated projects for the Czech Architecture Award 2026. An international jury selected it from a total of 301 entries from across the Czech Republic.

The nominations for the Stavba roku 2026 competition will be announced on 7 September 2026.
The official award ceremony will take place on 16 November 2026 at the Rudolfinum in Prague.
