DELTA Ukraine: Review of the DELTA Group’s commitment & outlook for 2024
07. February 2024
DELTA has been operating in Ukraine since 2006. Over these years, the company has established a strong presence in the country, contributing significantly to various sectors and adapting to the evolving market and socio-economic conditions. This long-standing engagement reflects DELTA’s commitment to the Ukrainian market and its contribution to the country’s development.
Challenging points in 2023 for the Ukraine site were:
- Finding additional specialists
- Expanding our services
- Managing unexpected situations because of the war
What drives us in Ukraine in 2024:
- Prioritizing Net Zero and Energy Efficiency (environmental impact reduction, cost savings and the building user’s comfort)
- Modular Construction (fast and easy way to rebuild, improve and enhance the damaged and critically needed infrastructure)
- Timber Construction (eco-friendly and carbon-neutral building solutions)
- ESG Integration (to ensure a positive impact on the environment, society and corporate governance)
- Green Certification Promotion (contribution to sustainable development)
- Innovative Technology (BIM360 & AI Tools)
- Team Expansion
DELTA Ukraine currently employs 75 people in Ukraine, in 3 home bases – Kyiv, Lviv and Ivano-Frankivsk. As we continuously expand with the increasing number of projects, we have set an ambitious goal to reach 100 professionals in our team by the end of 2024.
Wolfgang Gomernik (Managing Director of DELTA Ukraine): “Despite challenging times, 2023 was an extremely successful year for us economically and we are looking forward to existing and new projects for 2024 with a highly motivated team! Many thanks to our great team in Ukraine for their great commitment, which goes far beyond the limits!”
