Ground-breaking ceremony for future project in Innsbruck – House of Physics
09. April 2025
We are delighted to be responsible for the project monitoring & control of the new House of Physics on the Technikerstraße campus of the University of Innsbruck!
On behalf of BIG Bundesimmobiliengesellschaft m.b.H., a state-of-the-art centre for research and teaching will be built here by 2028 – a joint home for the previously scattered physics institutes.
The new building will provide space for 850 students and 500 employees and will set new standards with its sustainable energy concept: a photovoltaic system, heat recovery and a thermal envelope in passive house quality are part of the planning. The aim is to achieve klimaaktiv Gold certification.
Together with David Gucher, Johannes Muhr from DELTA is responsible for the project monitoring & control.
We would like to thank BIG for their trust and look forward to successfully realising this important project together!
