Handover: ISTA kindergarten in Gugging – awarded klimaaktiv GOLD certification

The new kindergarten on the ISTA campus in Klosterneuburg has been completed and handed over. The building received the klimaaktiv GOLD certification with the maximum score of 1000/1000 points.

In less than a year, thanks to outstanding teamwork and the commitment of everyone involved, the construction of the new kindergarten for the Institute of Science and Technology Austria (ISTA) has been completed.
The design by WORK SPACE Architekten ZT GmbH combines comfort, modernity, and sustainability. The building generates more energy than it consumes. This is made possible by a photovoltaic system and the use of geothermal energy for heating and cooling. The timber construction is particularly low in CO₂ and enabled a short construction period.
