Klaus Ransmayr becomes Chief Design Officer at DELTA

International addition within the DELTA Group: In his role, the internationally educated and experienced architect will promote the architectural discourse and combine his design focus with the high execution quality of the DELTA Group. 

Klaus Ransmayr started as Chief Design Officer at DELTA PODS Architects in September 2022. He is responsible for the design and conceptualization of projects in concept and planning phases and acts as a key figure for future business development and acquisition. His focus lies on early design phases, competitions, and feasibility studies, as well as enhancing the overall design quality of projects.

“The DELTA Group is very exciting for me because it is open to new ideas and offers room for vision. Their expertise in the execution of building projects is incredibly strong. Coupled with a high level of design quality, we can cover future projects even more holistically,” says the architect.

With his international background, Klaus Ransmayr has gained experience in Germany, the Middle East, and China. He will contribute his know-how on a wide range of building typologies across all planning phases to projects in Austria, Germany, and CEE as well as reconstruction projects in Ukraine.

Klaus Ransmayr studied architecture at the Vienna University of Technology and obtained his Master of Architectural Design Degree at Columbia University in New York in 2005. He worked for renowned architectural offices such as Coop Himmelb(l)au in Vienna and Asymptote Architecture in New York. From 2010 to 2022, Klaus Ransmayr was partner and Design Director at HENN Berlin, where he was in charge of the design studio.

Klaus Ransmayr has extensive technical and commercial knowledge, as well as the ability to lead project teams through the entire design process., During his architectural career, he has won numerous architectural competitions and has been responsible for various award-winning projects.
