The centrepiece is the large entrance area, which extends over three buildings and also serves as a link between the buildings.
23 laboratories, 140 offices and 14 seminar rooms are now available for the three universities IMC Krems, Karl Landsteiner Private University and University for Continuing Education Krems.
Energy is primarily supplied by a heat pump. District heating is used to cover peak loads. The heat from the exhaust air is also recovered.
There are 459 photovoltaic panels with an area of 850 m2 on the roof.
The new building is also state-of-the-art in terms of technology and energy efficiency.
