Special features

• The first sub-project in Stifterstrasse has already been successfully handed over in spring 2024: Laboratory for Molecular Genetic Diagnostics (LMGD) and the Institute for Clinical Pathology and Molecular Pathology
• Project start on the hospital site at the beginning of June 2024: expansion of the emergency outpatient clinic and BTE (radiooncology outpatient clinic in building E)
• The main measures (demolition of the forecourt, construction of the new BTM building) started in January 2025. The first construction phase, including the components K, M, E, F and Spange, is scheduled for completion by the end of 2027. The second construction phase will then start with the demolition of the BTD.
• The complex official procedures, user consultations and the coordination of necessary temporary arrangements to ensure ongoing operations are challenging, but manageable thanks to the great project team
