This was DELTA Lab 2021
02. November 2021
On 30.09.2021 the DELTA Lab – Digital Collaboration took place at k47 above the rooftops of Vienna. Moderated by co-owner Wolfgang Kradischnig, there was a diverse program:
Innovations in the areas of digitalization & BIM as well as a virtual tour through current projects amazed our guests.
Arnold Koller illustrated the development and challenges of digitalization and explained how the Common Data Environment Datenpool in construction projects creates a structured repository and continuous processes for clients.
The numerous advantages of using BIM in planning were presented by Sabrina Schubert. A great visualization power through the 3D model as well as improved risk management and the possibility to use the “digital twin” for the operation of a building were just some of them.
Stefan Stockinger not only spoke about his vision of a sustainable future in construction but also presented specific fields of action and possibilities. Showcase projects such as the Ilse Wallentin House at BOKU served as examples of how this can be successfully implemented.
The evening concluded not only with a pleasant exchange over a flying dinner and the breath-taking view of Vienna but also with inspiring live demonstrations of the digital possibilities with VR glasses.
