NEUropa – Europe is built through cooperation
13. April 2026
An evening that shows: Europe is not a finished project.
Europe is taking shape – through our attitudes, through collaboration, and through the courage to take on responsibility.
At the DELTA Innovation Talk “NEUropa” (new Europe) in the NOVA ZONE, we discussed exactly that:
- How can transformation succeed in times of geopolitical uncertainty?
- How do we strengthen resilience – economically, socially, and ecologically?
- And what role does Europe play in this as a space for innovation?
For us at DELTA, one thing is clear:
Europe is not an abstract construct – but a daily reality. In projects, in partnerships, and in our responsibility as a company.
Special thanks go to all the participants who shaped this evening:
- Gerald Karner, who, with his keynote – based on his book “The Underestimated Continent” – sharpened our focus on Europe’s role in the global context.
- Iryna Alekseeva, for her insights into Ukraine’s reconstruction and the blend of expertise and personal perspective.
- Maria Marlene Dietrich, for her perspective on interconnected European spaces and new sustainable economic paradigms.
- Wolfgang Kradischnig, who envisions a Europe that once again draws more strongly on its own strengths to assume a shaping role.
And a heartfelt thank you to Eva Aspalter (CMb.industries), whose moderation created space for dialogue, personal perspectives, and genuine discussion.
What became clear:
Europe will not be defined by raw materials – but by its capacity for innovation. By its ability to combine technology, sustainability, and collaboration.
The construction and real estate sectors, in particular, bear a special responsibility here: transformation is not discussed – it is built.
The discussions revealed just how much potential lies within Europe – from DELTA’s perspective, particularly in the collaboration between different regions such as Austria, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, and Ukraine. Not as competition, but as a shared space for shaping the future.
Our conclusion from the evening:
Europe’s future is not decided by strategies alone – but by projects, partnerships, and daily actions.
Or, as Wolfgang Kradischnig put it:
“Europe is not a finished project – it is created by us.”
Thank you to all guests for the thought-provoking questions, the openness, and the shared exchange.
