Innovation as Part of DELTA’s Corporate Culture
16. July 2026

The DELTA Group is an internationally active company specializing in architecture, construction management, and consulting, with more than 400 employees at locations in Austria, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, and Ukraine. For nearly 50 years, the DELTA Group has been supporting its clients throughout the entire life cycle of construction and real estate projects. Digitalization and artificial intelligence are not merely short-term trends, but strategic building blocks for continuously developing our services and continuing to offer clients the greatest possible value in the future.
Specifically, the DELTA Group uses artificial intelligence wherever it can effectively support planning, management, and consulting processes. These include, for example, the early design and planning phase, where AI can help better incorporate sustainability aspects right from the start of a project, as well as tendering and awarding processes, construction supervision, and the processing of large volumes of data. The goal here is not to replace professional expertise, but to lighten the workload for experts, make processes more efficient, and free up more time for the actual project work.
Digital transformation is also being consistently driven forward within the company. Modern CRM solutions with agent-based workflows support an even stronger customer focus, digital workplace concepts such as desk sharing create more flexibility for employees, and in-house software solutions complement existing applications where they offer concrete added value.
At DELTA, innovation does not arise in isolation within a single department, but rather through close collaboration between employees, management, and owners. A company-wide survey on strategic future topics has shown that employees view artificial intelligence as one of the most important areas for action. The DELTA Group is specifically capitalizing on this momentum—among other things, through an in-house AI award that recognizes innovative ideas and concrete use cases from the teams.
This approach is complemented by initiatives such as the DELTA Innovation Day, AI cafés, and AI playgrounds. They create space to contextualize current developments, build knowledge, exchange experiences, and test new applications in a safe environment. At the same time, issues such as data protection, information security, and the requirements of the EU AI Act are taken into account from the very beginning.
At DELTA, innovation is deliberately understood in a broader sense than simply the introduction of new technologies. It also encompasses the development of new forms of collaboration, the fostering of a partnership-based construction culture, and engagement with future societal issues. How will people live, work, and reside in the future? What kinds of spaces do they need? How can cities, municipalities, and regions be designed to be livable, resilient, and sustainable? These questions form an important starting point for the Group’s innovation work. To advance these topics, DELTA deliberately creates spaces for reflection and experimentation. Formats such as workshops, innovation events, and interdisciplinary projects bring together diverse perspectives and foster dialogue among employees, customers, partners, and external experts.
The DELTA Group’s experience shows that successful digital transformation requires, above all, a clear strategic direction, employees who can actively shape change, and a willingness to consistently implement many small improvements. At DELTA, innovation arises where digital, cultural, and environmental issues are considered together and continuously developed.
