That is why we address this topic at the highest level to stay ahead of the rapid changes in possibilities. We see productivity gains for employees in the analysis and processing of large volumes of project data, in forecasting costs and risks, and in optimizing Planning and decision-making processes through accelerated workflows, as well as in daily office routines. What is the company’s current strategy regarding digitalization?

Our digital strategy follows the principle that “technology serves the corporate vision and the individual project goal.” We integrate BIM, AI, and data-driven control throughout the entire lifecycle. In doing so, we find ourselves in an interesting area of tension: on the one hand, digitalization in architecture is already well advanced; on the other hand, the construction industry, with its many small and medium-sized businesses, still has some catching up to do. That is why we rely on strong collaboration and active exchange to jointly leverage the possibilities of digital work. For us, digitalization is not a tool, but part of a new, partnership-based construction culture. At the same time, we are investing in cybersecurity (netconsult), high data quality, and the professional development of our teams.

What is the biggest challenge in digitalization?

The biggest challenge is not the technology, but the cultural shift. Digitalization requires new forms of collaboration, trust, and clear responsibilities. At the same time, the demands on cybersecurity are increasing dramatically. It is crucial that people understand and control the systems and retain responsibility.
