DC2 Tower: DELTA Team Experiences Major Joint Project On Site

We recently had the opportunity to visit the DC2 Tower on the Donauplatte and experience one of our major projects up close.
Sixteen colleagues from various DELTA departments visited the DC2 Tower.
The 175-meter-tall mixed-use tower, with 53 floors dedicated to offices (2nd–31st floors) and residential units (32nd–52nd floors, approximately 340 rental apartments), impresses not only with its Architecture by Dominique Perrault but also with its sustainable features: In addition to LEED Platinum certification, it features the largest photovoltaic facade of any building in Europe, with approximately 3,300 PV modules covering more than 10,000 m² of facade area and generating 1.4 GWp of power.
DELTA’s services in expanded project monitoring include, among other things:
- Regular support for the buyer (Commerz Real Invest) in its dealings with the general contractor/developer (S+B Group) to ensure compliance with the purchase agreement
- Participation and reviews as part of change management
- Review of key specifications
- Participation in key contract award negotiations
- Conducting acceptance inspections on behalf of the buyer
- Quality Assurance for the tenant fit-out
The project is currently in the acceptance phase for the individual trades. Seven DELTA employees from the Consulting division are working on this, with support from Delta Pods Architects. The final handover of the building to CRI is scheduled for late October 2026. Project-specific follow-up work will continue through May 2027.
The site visit demonstrated once again how many areas of expertise within the DELTA Group work together to successfully support clients in the implementation of complex large-scale projects. It is a source of pride to see the results of this collaboration on-site and to experience firsthand the team’s collective contribution to the project’s success.
