voestalpine Stahlwelt will soon shine in new splendor – construction starts in July 2024
DELTA services include tendering, project management, certification, CDE (Datenpool) and ÖBA (local construction supervision).

voestalpine Stahlwelt is a popular destination for school pupils, students and individual visitors who want to experience innovation and technology in steel production and use at first hand. Starting in July 2024, voestalpine Stahlwelt will be fundamentally adapted and modernized over the next 1 ½ years. The costs amount to around EUR 20 million. The event area will continue to operate to a limited extent and the popular tours of the voestalpine site will also be possible during the renovation.
After 15 years, space is also to be created in the Stahlwelt for the latest technologies and visions of voestalpine – such as greentec steel. The exhibition will also be significantly modernized in terms of the digital presentation of content. “As a leading international steel and technology group, we want to adapt Stahlwelt to our requirements for modern exhibition operations and give the technological and innovative diversity of the voestalpine world a modern home,” says Herbert Eibensteiner, CEO of voestalpine AG.
The planning itself is being supervised by the internationally successful exhibition specialist ATELIER BRÜCKNER, based in Stuttgart.
