Klinik Ottakring: New Pavilion Strengthens Patient Care
23. October 2026
The modular timber building provides approximately 3,130 m² of usable floor space, offering spacious treatment areas and supporting efficient workflows. Since June, patients from the Trauma Surgery Department have been treated here, followed by patients from the General Intensive Care Unit since August. The plastic surgery department is set to follow in the coming months.
DELTA supported the project as part of the FCP–DELTA joint venture, commissioned by the Vienna Healthcare Group, providing project monitoring & control. Project Leadership on the DELTA side was led by Matthias Zawischa, who was supported by, amongst others, Jasmine Lutzer.
After around one and a half years of construction, the pavilion marks an important milestone on the path towards the new central hospital. The relocation of the departments to the new facility is planned for 2033.
A big thank you to all employees and project partners who made the successful implementation possible while the hospital remained fully operational!
Shaping healthcare. Building the future – with more space, shorter distances and modern medical technology.
