Advancing Healthcare Infrastructure – Transforming Existing Facilities with Vision

One of DELTA Group’s key strengths lies in the continuous development of existing healthcare facilities. Hospitals cannot simply interrupt their operations during extensive refurbishment and expansion projects. This makes precise planning, carefully coordinated construction phases and collaborative project management (including Early Contractor Involvement (ECI), Integrated Project Delivery (IPD) and Lean Management) essential.

In Austria, projects such as Elisabethines Vienna-Center, Ordensklinikum Linz, the Health Education Campus of the “Barmherzige Schwestern Ried”, and the Health Campus of Klinikum Wels-Grieskirchen reflect DELTA Group’s extensive healthcare expertise. They demonstrate how historic hospital campuses can be sustainably transformed, modern learning environments created and complex construction projects successfully delivered while healthcare services continue uninterrupted.

DELTA also brings its expertise to projects across Central and Eastern Europe. In the Czech Republic, the portfolio includes the Brno University Hospital, Třebíč Hospital and the network of BIO LIFE Plasma Donation Centres. In Slovakia, NEOPROT is creating a modern centre for orthopaedic and prosthetic devices. A particular focus lies on Ukraine. DELTA has been involved in healthcare projects there for many years and is now supporting the reconstruction of essential medical infrastructure. These projects include the OKHMATDYT National Children’s Specialised Hospital in Kyiv, the UNBROKEN Mental Health Center, and the UNBROKEN Centre for Prosthetics and Orthotics in Lviv.
