DELTA Ukraine has successfully completed LEED certification for the Promprylad A1-A2 building in Ivano-Frankivsk

DELTA Ukraine has successfully completed the certification of the A1-A2 building of the Promprylad project in Ivano-Frankivsk. The facility received certification under the international green building system LEED v4 BD+C: Core and Shell.

These buildings exemplify the revitalization of a former Soviet-era factory complex. The space has been reimagined as a modern, multifunctional facility that combines office and retail spaces, as well as an art center, while preserving its authentic industrial aesthetic.

As part of the certification process, a number of green strategies were implemented:

  • preservation of the building’s existing envelope and internal structures:
  • thermal retrofitting of the facades;
  • reuse and recycling of construction and demolition waste;
  • landscaping using plants that do not require artificial irrigation after the establishment period;
  • installation of infrastructure for the separate collection and storage of household waste for subsequent recycling.

For Promprylad, green certification is part of a broader approach to revitalization. The project combines the preservation of existing buildings, the rational use of resources, energy efficiency, and the creation of a high-quality urban environment.

DELTA Ukraine has been working on green building in Ukraine since its inception. The team conducted the country’s first certifications under the DGNB and LEED systems, and the certification of the Promprylad A1-A2 building marked the seventh LEED certification successfully completed by DELTA Ukraine.
