Opening of the largest car park photovoltaic system in Upper Austria

The largest car park photovoltaic system in Upper Austria opened in May 2024. The car park at Eurothermen Bad Schallerbach was roofed over with 2,887 photovoltaic modules (= around 6,000 square metres). 420 parking spaces not only offer protection, but also contribute to the energy revolution.

The generated electricity serves the energy needs of the Eurothermen Resort. Installed within eight months on an existing parking lot, the system was implemented without additional ground sealing, during ongoing operations.

DELTA played a pivotal role in planning, project management, and on-site supervision. In this exemplary project for many other parking facilities, DELTA’s Ingo Huber, Markus Prötsch, Andreas Obermayr, Franz Neuböck, Thomas Wenter and Josef Oresczuk were key contributors.
